Debbie Madsen, our Davenport office's Operation Assistant since 2012, has a bubbly personality and keen focus on details and procedures that compliments the office. Her prior work experience includes12 years as a the sole support staff in a small commodity trading firm. She was previously a librarian with the Scott County Library, and prior to obtaining her “Mom” title she worked as a purchasing agent for the Department of Defense and Federal Support Clerk in Personnel
Debbie’s love of flowers graces the office making it very easy to identify which office is hers. Debbie makes friends easily and is blessed with a large circle of friends and family that are sprinkled throughout the US. She loves to visit frequently. She is active volunteer both in Durant, where she lives and the surrounding Muscatine and Quad City community. She is certified in Non-Profit Management, serving on several community non-profit boards including being an active board member of the Durant Community School Education Foundation since its formation in 2005.
Being a “mom” to two incredible adult children is one of Debbie’s greatest blessings. Emily, Debbie’s daughter, was active member of the University of Iowa Student Philanthropy Group, and a founding member of the University of Iowa Collegiate 4H before graduating from the university with BA in Health Promotions in 2014. She is lives in Iowa City and is currently employed as Support Staff Specialist in the Neurology department of The University of Iowa Health Care and as a Fitness Trainer at TITLE Boxing Club. Sam, Debbie’s son, is an Eagle Scout who has earned his degree in Gemology from Gemology Institute of America in 2016. Currently, he is busy living and building his resume in Manhattan, New York as a Gemologist and CAD Designer at Diamonds International
